Last August 13, 2024, Altamedica participated in an event organized by the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Western Visayas Medical Center. The event, titled “Tip of the Scalpel: Basics of Wound Repair (Lecture & Workshop),” took place in the conference room of the hospital. It brought together doctors and pre-medical interns specializing in surgery. The workshop focused on enhancing skills in wound repair, specifically on techniques for properly stitching the skin after surgical procedures.

This one-day event was a success, thanks to the leadership of Dr. Khristy Tallador and the active participation of doctors and interns. Additionally, Altamedica Incorporated sponsored the sutures for the workshop, courtesy of Meril Endo-Surgery, to promote the high quality of their suture products.
