The word alta came from the latin word altus meaning ‘high’ whereas medica is the latin term for ‘healer.’ Put together, our name AltaMedica reflects the vision as to which our company intends to realize, and that is to provide products of healing that are of the highest quality and efficacy.  Altamedica envisions being a leader in providing a diverse range of medical, hospital and pharmaceutical products that upholds the standards of quality, affordability and innovation. Established in the year 2007, our directors and officers have been part and contributory to the growth of the medical industry for more than 20 years. Our company is a brainchild of a group of doctors and young professionals who, through experience, insight and a shared vision of a future full of potentials were driven to establish Altamedica.  Currently our company is involved in 3 major fields of the medical industry: medical supplies & equipment, laboratory machines & reagents and pharmaceuticals. Our daily operations are engaged in development, production, importation, distribution, marketing and sales.

Our industry partners are leaders known for their strict adherence to quality standards and consumer reliability. Linear Chemicals S.L. is a multi-national company based in Spain and is our partner for Laboratory Reagents and Instrumentation. Our medical supplies and consumables are sourced from different reputable companies all over Asia and Europe.

We believe in the quality of our manufacturers, especially now that the Philippines is in full compliance with the ASEAN Harmonization of Standards and Technical Requirements Program implemented through the office of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  Our two manufacturers are among the 29 CGMP-approved and DOH-recognized companies for Manufacturing Excellence: JM Tolmann Inc. and AD Drugstel Pharmaceutical Laboratories Inc.  Our pharmaceutical operation has two divisions: the drug division and the food division and our current product line consists of the following: pediatric multivitamin containing Taurine, Lysine and Chlorella extract, ALTAVIT PLUS; B-Complex MEDINERV FORTE. Our products are made available at selected outlets nationwide for both OTC and prescription markets.
